Mattson Tree Farm is please to say that the following varieties of trees are currently in production. Some of the varieties may not be at a saleable size so please contact Brett Mattson for the current avaiability. Height (Ht) and Spread (Sp) are approximate sizes at maturity but each tree is different and may not grow exactly to these sizes. If you are looking at producing a strong shelterbelt with the larger shade trees (Spread greater than 4m) or evergreens, we recommend using 12ft to 15ft tree spacing.

Definitions

Drought tolerant – can handle dryer climates but still require proper watering after being transplanted from our nursery to your landscape.
Moisture tolerant – can handle wetter than normal conditions but no tree likes to sit in water for long periods of time. If water tends to pool around these trees for long periods of time, fix the grade so water can slowly drain away from these areas.
